The Rempath software platform, developed by clinicians for clinicians which allows easy ordering of a wide array of tests on any specified date(s) for a patient to self-use.
The system is HIPAA-compliant, user-friendly, and configured to integrate with existing electronic health records, minimizing data duplication and workflow disruption. Additionally, our solution can be white-labelled and fully integrated into your current care pathways and IT infrastructure.

With over 30 years of healthcare expertise, Rempath was established to enhance the patient blood draw experience and to deliver an innovative end-to-end pathology solution for providers. From hospital-level diagnostics available directly to the patient in the comfort of their home, through to working in partnership with care providers who are treating patients in a skilled nursing facility, we're committed to taking the pain out of the blood collection process. Clinicians can order a wide range of tests (including blood, urine, swab, and stool samples) which are then processed through our national laboratory network, eliminating the reliance on traditional phlebotomy services.

All laboratory results are accessible through the Rempath™ portal, which integrates directly with a client's Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) or Electronic Health Record (EHR), ensuring streamlined data management and compliance with relevant regulatory standards, including HIPAA.
Our extensive, agile network offers flexible lab selection tailored to clinical requirements, commercial considerations, or client preferences on a state-by-state basis. Whether providers integrate with their own IT systems and laboratory networks or leverage ours, the result is consistent: patients receive timely care without the inconvenience of unnecessary travel.

The Technology
Painless Blood Withdrawal Device
Rempath’s solution removes the need for traditional needles, providing a virtually painless experience for most patients and promoting a positive care environment that supports better outcomes. Triggering the device releases sterile needles that puncture the skin enabling blood collection with minimal discomfort compared to finger sticks, lancets, venipuncture, or competing products. Rempath is committed to supporting healthcare providers, labs, and care homes in bringing painless blood withdrawal to their patients safely and effectively.
Rempath™ Software System
This platform enables clinicians to order a wide range of diagnostic tests, including blood, swab, urine, and stool samples, for any future date. Multiple tests can be scheduled simultaneously. Test kits may be distributed directly in the clinic or shipped nationwide to a patient’s home or workplace. The Rempath™ system is fully integrated with our national fulfilment network, ensuring reliable delivery, tracking, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Rempath™ operates a comprehensive national fulfillment network across the United States. Our logistics partners provide same-day dispatch and scalable capacity with coverage in every state, ensuring timely delivery or pick-up wherever patients are located. Test kits can be shipped directly to patients’ homes and returned via any FedEx drop-off location for prompt delivery to our local lab network for analysis. For homebound patients, we also offer direct pickup from their residence, ensuring full accessibility and convenience.

Rempath™ provides an extensive pathology network, offering lab capacity across the United States. During onboarding, we work with partners to identify the most efficient payer, logistical, and clinical lab locations to best serve their patients. All test results are securely transmitted through the Rempath™ portal and integrated into your preferred Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) or Electronic Health Record (EHR). Lab selection is tailored to each client’s requirements, which may vary by state or insurance network affiliation.

Touch Activated, Spring Mounted
After cleansing the skin with an alcohol wipe, place the device against the upper arm. Pressing the plunger activates the spring, which releases the microneedle while simultaneously expelling air from the sealed device body.
Virtually Painless, Shallow Pierce
The needles pierce only approximately 1 mm deep, remaining above the dermis where nerve endings reside. This approach eliminates the primary source of pain during blood draws.
Rapid Microneedle Retraction
Unlike traditional blood draws, the microneedles retract after about 3 milliseconds, drawn back by the spring.
Leveraging Physics for a Gentle Blood Draw
When the plunger is released, a gentle vacuum forms, facilitating the blood draw from the capillaries through the skin.
